Quick Send lets you send a document for signature directly from the New Document page — without going through the Prepare step to manually place signature fields. When you use Quick Send, Xodo Sign automatically attaches a signature page to the end of your document for any signers who do not have a signature field.
Use Quick Send when you need to send a document fast and do not require precise control over where signature fields appear.
Before You Quick Send
Make sure you have completed the following on the New Document page before clicking Quick Send:
- At least one file has been uploaded in the Files section.
- At least one recipient has been added in the Recipients section.
Once these are in place, the Quick Send button in the top-right area of the page becomes available.
How to Use Quick Send
- On the New Document page, upload your document using the Upload Files button and add your recipients in the Recipients section.
- Click the Quick Send button in the top-right area of the page (next to Use A Template and Document Settings).
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Review the message and click Sending... to confirm and send the document immediately. Click Cancel to go back without sending.
The Quick Send dialog reads: "You're about to Quick Send this document. A signature page will automatically attach to the end of your document for any signers without a signature field. If you proceed your document will be sent immediately."
After Quick Send
Once you confirm, a Document Sent confirmation will appear with the message: "Success! Your document has been sent." From here you can:
- Click Start New Document to create another document.
- Click View Document to see the document's status.
Each recipient will receive an email with a link to review and sign the document. Xodo Sign adds a signature page automatically at the end of the document for any signer who does not already have a signature field assigned.
Quick Send vs. Prepare
Use Quick Send when you want to send a document immediately without customizing the layout. Use Prepare when you need to manually place signature fields, text inputs, dates, checkboxes, or other field types at specific locations in the document.
