If you are seeing an upgrade prompt when trying to create a new template - even though you believe you haven't reached your limit - there are a few possible explanations.
Common Causes
You have multiple businesses
If you have more than one business under the same account, all templates across all businesses count toward your account's total template limit. For example, if you have 3 templates in one business and 2 in another, your account has used 5 templates total - even if each individual business is below the limit.
You have archived templates
Archived templates still count toward your maximum template limit. To create new templates, you will need to permanently delete unused or archived templates to free up space in your quota.
How to Free Up Template Space
- Go to Templates in the left navigation menu.
- Click the Archived tab to see all archived templates.
- Delete any templates you no longer need by clicking the dropdown menu and selecting Delete.
- Repeat for any unused templates in your other businesses.
Note: Deleting templates is permanent. Make sure you no longer need a template before deleting it.
