Device Verification - Preventing unauthorized access to your Xodo Sign account

Device Verification adds an extra layer of security to your Xodo Sign account. When you log in from a new or unrecognized device, Xodo Sign will ask you to verify your identity with a one-time code sent to your account email.

Device Verification is mandatory and cannot be disabled.

How Device Verification works

  1. Log in to your Xodo Sign account.
  2. If you're logging in from an unrecognized browser or device, you'll see the Device Verification prompt.
  3. Click Request verification code. A 6-digit code will be sent to your account email.
  4. Check your email, copy the verification code, and enter it in the prompt.
  5. Click Verify. If the code is correct, you'll be logged in and taken to the Select Business page.

After completing verification, your device will stay verified — you won't be prompted again on that device unless your browser data is cleared.

Why Device Verification might not stay saved

Your verification may not be remembered if:

  • Your browser security is set to "High"
  • Your browser history or cookies auto-clear after closing
  • You are using private browsing / incognito mode

To keep your device verified, make sure persistent cookies are enabled in your browser settings.

Important: Access to your account email

You must have access to the email address registered with your Xodo Sign account to complete verification. If you've lost access to that email, you may be locked out. Update your email in Account Settings before this happens.
