If you need to update the document file behind an existing template - for example, to fix a typo or update contact information - you can use the Re-upload file feature. This replaces the underlying file while keeping all the signature fields and roles you have already set up.

How to Re-upload the Template File
- Open your template for editing.
- In the template editor, locate your existing document file at the top of the editor.
- Click the Re-upload file button next to the document's title.
- Select the new file to replace the existing one.
- You will see a confirmation message once the file has been successfully re-uploaded.
When to Use This Feature
The Re-upload file feature works best for minor changes to the original document, such as:
- Correcting a typo or outdated information
- Updating contact details or company branding
- Making small text edits
The new file should ideally have the same page count as the original. If the layout changes significantly, your existing signature fields may no longer align correctly and will need to be repositioned.
Important Note
If you have made major structural changes to the document (e.g., added or removed pages, or completely redesigned the layout), it is better to create a new template from scratch rather than using the Re-upload feature.
